GOODBYE, MR. ACTIVISION? - Activision Might not Return for Another Bond Game

After the tremendous fail of 007 LEGENDS, that led to the close of developer Eurocom, Activision, the video game enterprise in charge of the James Bond videogames since 2008, could not return for another Bond video game.

Their Bond videogames QUANTUM OF SOLACE, BLOOD STONE and 007 LEGENDS were deleted from Steam and official site online catalog, which means they could have ended up their 007 contract originally due to end in 2014.

Thanks to James Bond Brasil for the alert.

THE SILOHUETTE MAN IS BACK - Daniel Kleinman returns for the main titles of SKYFALL

After the rather disappointing vectorized main title sequence for QUANTUM OF SOLACE in 2008, by designers MK12, Daniel Kleiman returns for the SKYFALL opening credits.

Kleinman was hored to design the opening credits for GOLDENEYE after his work on Gladys Knight music video for the 1989 Bond film LICENCE TO KILL, starring Timothy Dalton.

He continued his association with 007 with TOMORROW NEVER DIES, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, DIE ANOTHER DAY and Daniel Craig's debut as a rebooted James Bond, CASINO ROYALE.

When Marc Forster took the helm of the 22nd James Bond film, QUANTUM OF SOLACE, he hired his usual main title designers, MK12, who worked in other Forsters productions like STRANGER THAN FICTION and THE KITE RUNNER.

I WAS ALWAYS BETTER! - Campbell slams Marc Forster

Martin Campbell, director of GOLDENEYE and CASINO ROYALE, didn't blink an eye before criticizing Marc Forster's QUANTUM OF SOLACE, the last film in the Bond series, that had a lukewarm recepcion by historic Bond fans in 2008.

When asked by CraveOnline about the 22nd Bond film during the press rounds of his latest project, THE GREEN LANTERN, the New Zealand born director said the film was "lousy."

"I just thought the story was pretty uninteresting. I didn't think the action was related to the characters. I just thought overall it was a bit of a mess really", said Campbell, who also backed Sam Mendes choice to direct the 23rd Bond film starring Daniel Craig, and set to release on October 26th, 2012.
