The full official trailer for THE NOVEMBER MAN, Pierce Brosnan's upcoming action thriller, has been released last Friday, along with a couple of exclusive film stills featuring co-stars Luke Bracey and Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Craig's 007 former female counterpart in QUANTUM OF SOLACE, released in 2008. Based on Bill Granger's novel There Are No Spies, the screenplay by Michael Finch & Karl Gajdusek tells the story of Peter Devereaux (Brosnan), a retired CIA agent faced off against his former friend and CIA protégé David Mason (Bracey) when his services are required once more to protect Alice Fournier (Kurylenko), a very important witness.
The trailer promises great action sequences (underlined by a cover version of the Fugees' "Ready or Not") and a brainy and emotional story much in the vein of the 21st century spy thrillers, with a promising direction from Roger Donaldson, who worked with Brosnan before in 1997's DANTE'S PEAK.
THE NOVEMBER MAN opens on August 27 on the United States, reaching out other countries by the end of the year. Visit the official site at TheNovemberMan.com and check out the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
